🔧 Basic Maintenance of Outlet’s Equipment

To ensure all branch equipment is maintained in safe, functional, and professional condition.

1️⃣ Scope 

This process including:

1. Lighting systems
2. Sockets and switches
3. Air conditioning systems
4. Plumbing equipment
5. Hair styling equipment
6. Furniture and equipment

2️⃣ Roles and Responsibilities

1. Branch Manager – Supervise and approve maintenance work, execute inspections and minor repairs.

3. Staff – Conduct daily visual inspections and report.

3️⃣ Light Bulb Replacement

1. Correct bulb, Stable ladder, Gloves
2. Turn OFF switch.
3. Allow bulb to cool.
4. Use stable ladder (NO chairs).
5. Remove old bulb carefully.
6. Check holder for burn marks.
7. Install new bulb securely.
8. Turn power ON and test.
⚠️ If bulb burns frequently → Report HQ.

4️⃣ Power Outlet/Switch Inspection

1. Weekly inspection
2. Check for looseness
3. Check for burn marks
4. Test with a small device
⚠️ If sparks/overheating occurs → stop using and report it.
🚫 Internal wiring cannot be repaired by staff.

5️⃣ Basic Air Conditioner Maintenance

Weekly
1. Check airflow
2. Clean vents

Monthly
1. Turn off the air conditioner
2. Remove the filter
3. Wash with water
4. Allow to dry completely before reinstalling
⚠️ Leaks → Report to supplier.

6️⃣ Pipe Inspection

Weekly
1. Check dripping taps
2. Check under the sink
3. Ensure good water pressure
4. Slight tightening is permissible.

🚫 Do not disassemble pipes.

7️⃣ Equipment Inspection

1. Daily visual inspection
2. No exposed wires
3. No burning smell
4. No overheating
If any abnormality is found → stop using immediately.

9️⃣ Furniture and Chair Maintenance

Monthly
1. Tighten screws
2. Check stability
3. Stop using furniture with cracks

🔟 Circuit Breaker Reset

1. Turn off all electrical appliances
2. Reset the circuit breaker
3. Turn on each appliance one by one
4. Locate the faulty appliance
Repeated tripping → Report to headquarters.

🚫 Prohibited Activities

Branch employees are prohibited from:

🚫 Rewire electrical system
🚫 Opening internal machine control panels
🚫 Performing major pipework repairs
🚫 Performing ceiling repairs All of the above work must be performed by an approved supplier.

1. Lighting – Weekly
2. Outlets – Weekly
3. Air Conditioner Filter – Monthly
4. Plumbing – Weekly
5. Equipment Appearance – Daily
6. Furniture – Monthly
